Once accepted into the program, students remain eligible if the following criteria are met:
- Maintain a course load of at least 15 credits per semester. Students will be granted a one-time allowance of a minimum of 12 credits in any one semester.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students in their freshman year will be granted a one-time, first-semester allowance of a minimum GPA of 2.0.
To request your check, each semester students must submit their official transcripts and upcoming semester schedule, including total credit load, in order to verify continued eligibility.

When/how are scholarship funds distributed throughout the program?
Scholarship checks are typically distributed directly to your school once per semester, after enrollment and eligibility are confirmed.
- January 15th: Spring semester checks distributed
- August 15th: Fall semester checks distributed
What happens if I withdraw from classes or take a leave of absence?
Students must maintain a minimum of 15 credits per semester to remain eligible for the scholarship. The program offers an one-time, one semester waiver of this requirement that allows students to still remain eligible with a minimum of 12 credits.
Failure to maintain the necessary credit requirements, including a leave of absence, will result in forfeiture of the scholarship.
Students who forfeit their scholarship are eligible to reapply the following year.
